The other day I was interviewing a lovely lady for a podcast I will be launching soon and after our interview she said "I don't understand why people get so worked up when unexpected things happen (while presenting). I love when something unexpected happens, it makes my work so much easier!"
Of course she was speaking about her job but I feel this can be perfectly applied for everyday life. It is a fact we do not have control over everything and do not know what will happen in the future, so why not embrace the unexpected, take a load off and accept that we cannot be ready for mishaps, let alone responsible for them.
Can you feel freer today know that you do not have to control it all? Can you put aside perfectionism and accept we are all human and there is so much that we can do? I would love to read your thoughts on this in the comments!
